Scheduling a wedding at Glendale Christian Church

1.  Schedule a date and time for the wedding through the church office (623.939.4610).

2.  Make an appointment with the pastor performing the ceremony.

Guidelines for the wedding and reception

1.  Everyone involved in the wedding must be present at the rehearsal.

2.  Alcohol is not permitted on the on church grounds.

3.  Smoking is not allowed in any building on campus.

4.  Food and beverages are not allowed in the worship center.

5.  Only dripless or butane candles may be used in the worship center.

6.  The wedding party assumes all responsibility for any building or property damage. 

7.  You may not use tape, glue, or any other item that would damage the paint or finish of church walls or property. 

8.  The wedding party provides all decorations, accessories, food, etc. 

9.  Out of courtesy to our neighbors, music should be kept at a respectful audio level.  The reception needs to be concluded after three (3) hours or by 10:00pm, whichever is sooner.

Members are those who have attended our CLASS 101, signed their membership covenant with GCC, and have been consistent in their attendance at Sunday services.  Non-members are those who have not attended CLASS 101 and who have not signed their membership covenant with GCC, even if they are regular attenders.  It is also anyone who does not attend GCC, but is wanting to be married by one of our pastors.

When you sign your GCC Wedding Contract (available at the church office), and pay the deposit, your wedding and rehearsal date will be secured on the GCC Calendar of Events. The remainder of the cost (total cost less the deposit) is due no less than 7 days before your wedding.  Church office hours are from 8:30am to 5:00pm, Monday through Thursday.
